A better look doesn’t need to start with something new, just new-ish
Pureline specializes in transforming existing cabinetry, woodwork, furniture, and interior spaces with professional preparation and durable finishes—preserving what works and upgrading what doesn’t.
Opaque Color Change
Don’t like the look of the natural wood? Or is the existing color faded and outdated? Opaque color changes can shift the way an entire room feels. From white to purple, from light to dark, and even from dark to light, the color choices are almost neverending!

Topical Stain Color Change
Unlike an opaque color change that hides the wood and grain, a topical stain is translucent coloring, so you still see the natural look of the wood and aesthetic of the grain underneath.

Pureline’s Classic (Re)fresh
Not every piece needs a complete color overhaul. Pureline’s Classics Refresh is a hand-applied service that focuses on minor color corrections from small chips, sun fading, and natural degradation that happens over time.

Penetrating Raw Wood Stains
Traditional penetrating stain for raw or properly stripped wood. Best suited to pieces and features where the stain can absorb directly into the wood such as raw furniture, awnings, planters, and other exterior woodwork.

Interior (Re)paint
Flipping a home to sell? Doing a fresh coat between tenants? Or just need a fresh look all around? Interior repaints are designed to work alongside the refinished elements of your space rather than compete with them.

See The Difference
Same Space Fresh feel
Refinishing changes the way a place or piece feels and looks, without replacing what made it worth keeping in the first place. From dramatic color shifts to subtle finish corrections, the goal is a result that feels refreshed and like new.

How it works

A clear process from the consultation to the final coat
Every project is a little different, but the general approach is the same: review the canvas, understand the vision, plan the work, prepare the area, (re)finish it with care & precision.
Assess
We start with the evaluation. We check the current condition, existing materials, existing finishes, and start working out the details for achieving the vision you have in mind. This step will help us determine the full scope of work to be done and approximately how long it should take. And of course the ever-looming questions of cost and time.
Plan
Following the assessment, we get to the fun stuff! Together we determine what color(s), sheen(s), scheduling, creative add-ons, expectations, and work everything into the schedule. The first day of work should be almost as exciting as the last!
Prepare
A reminder e-mail will be sent out two business days before our arrival. Attached will be the job specifics, a to-do checklist with instructions on things that need to be completed before your tech arrives, confirmation of the selected color(s), sheen(s), locations, and other scope-of-work information. Queue the anticipation and excitement!
Begin
For the first on-site day, we will get final signatures, confirm the color(s) and sheen(s) that we brought match what’s on paper, and then we get to work. Surfaces are carefully cleaned, sanded, and cosmetically repaired as needed. Any and all surrounding areas are protected, any components going back to the shop are removed and labeled, and then the real work is underway!
Refine
This is where the “Wow!” begins to really take shape. Before we take the removable components back to the shop, we remove the masking, give everything a careful once-over, and note anything that may still need some attention on install day. You’ll also get a simple walkthrough sheet to mark anything you notice from then until install.
Yield Amazing Results
The day of install has arrived! Before we bring any of the shop-finished components back inside, we complete any of the final touch ups that we or you have marked since day one. Then, with a white glove touch, we reinstall the components that were removed and completed at the shop. Once we are satisfied, we have you do the final quality check, sign off on the work, say a tearful farewell, and leave you to admire. You’re impressed. Your friends and family are impressed. And everyone is all smiles!

The person who starts the project (re)finishes the project
Pureline is a solely owned and operated LLC, which means your project starts and ends with the same guy! From the first conversation to the final handoff, there is one clear point of contact for the craftsmanship, communication, and the (re)finished result.

Consistency out the Gate
Scope, finish direction, preparation requirements, and project limitations are discussed before work begins—not discovered halfway through the job.
Direct Line of Communication
When something needs to be adjusted, corrected, or reconsidered, the decision doesn’t have to travel through layers of management before anything happens.
Integrity & Transparency
If something needs attention, there is no guessing which department or subcontractor owns it. Pureline owns the outcome.
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are a few things people generally ask about
Refinishing is a little different from simply repainting or replacing something. Here are a few of the questions that tend to come up before a project gets started.
Should I refinish my existing cabinets or replace them?
If your existing cabinetry is structurally sound and the surfaces are suitable for the finish you want, refinishing can create a major visual transformation without replacing cabinetry that still functions well. During consultation, Pureline evaluates the substrate, current finish, condition, repairs, and desired result to determine whether refinishing is an appropriate path.
What’s the difference between an Opaque Color Change and a Topical Stain Color Change?
An Opaque Color Change creates a solid-color transformation using a professional spray-applied coating system and Sherwin Williams Gallery Series paint. A Topical Stain Color Change keeps the wood grain visible while shifting the color and depth over a suitable existing finish. The existing surface has to be compatible with whichever system is selected.
What is a Pureline Classic Refresh?
A Pureline Classic Refresh is for previously stained or finished wood that you still like—it just needs some attention. The existing finish is cleaned, locally color-matched and touched up where needed, then hand-enhanced to restore depth and character without substantially changing the original look. Classic Refresh work is hand-applied rather than sprayed, and raw wood is not part of this service.
What is Penetrating Raw Wood Stain, and when would I choose it?
Penetrating stain is for suitable raw or unfinished wood, where the stain can absorb into the wood itself and keep the natural grain visible. It is applied by hand or wiping, with an appropriate protective topcoat when included in the project. This service is distinct from Topical Stain Color Changes, which work over a suitable existing finish.
Do you offer interior home painting?
Yes. Pureline offers scoped residential interior repaints including walls, ceilings, baseboards, casings and frames, interior doors, closets, shelving, and ordinary surface repair when specifically included in the proposal. Standard interior work is cut in, brushed, and rolled rather than sprayed.
How durable is the finish, and is the work warrantied?
Pureline selects the finishing system according to the service, substrate, and application method rather than using one coating for everything. Eligible standard refinishing and interior projects include a three-year limited workmanship warranty, while Pureline Classic Refresh carries a one-year workmanship warranty. Material- or condition-specific exclusions are reviewed as part of the project scope.
How is my project priced?
Every project is priced by its actual scope rather than from a one-size-fits-all public rate sheet. Service type, substrate, existing condition, preparation and repairs, project size, access, finish selections, hardware, and other scope details can affect the work required. After consultation, you’ll receive a clear written project price outlining the work included before you decide to book.
